Oil & Gas Industry – Future Perspective

The department of Petroleum and Gas Engineering at the college of Engineering and Technology (HQ) – The Arab Academy for science, Technology and Maritime Transport in organizing the first forum for the petroleum and gas industry under the patronage of his excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag – President of the Academy. In the presence of a distinguished group of industries from major companies, local and international entities, including the general petroleum cooperation and its Egyptian partners, the international OPITO corporation and other international companies from the European union and some Gulf cooperation council countries such as kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the united Arab of Emirates, during the forum, some presentations presented by the representative of these companies, in addition to the discussion of the following important topics that affect the future prospects of the industry:

1- Future gas exploration in the middle east and Africa.

2- The role of AI in supporting the oil and gas industry.

3- Sustainable development of the oil and gas industry.

4- Opportunities to reduce costs in exploration and production operations.

5- Research areas required by the oil and gas industry.
